Brooklyn85260′s travel blog entry: “Cay Caulker to San Ignacio to El Remate, Guatemala, So we finished up the islands with an amazing day of snorkeling, the highlight was defiantly the feeding of the sting rays. It was scary and amazing, they were huge and had their stingers fully intact. although our guide swears they never use them. The stingrays are very used to the guides feeding them everyday, and unbeknown to us they recognize the guides by the rash guards that they wear. Well it just so happens that Teddy and I were both wearing rash guards, which warranted ALOT of unnecessary attention from the huge sting rays. One in particular was so excited that it actually swam all the way over my head! The best part was my head was not even in the water! I had no idea what to do with an aggressive sting ray that wants to make out lol Another very large ray decided to play piggy back on Teddy’s shoulders. I think the other couple was very relieve! lol Next stop was San Ignacio a town in the jungle near Guatlemala. We stayed at a guest house that was amazing, J and R´s. John the owner was a retired tour guide of 30 years and was a fountain of information, we both left much more intelligent then when we arrived.
